Welcome to the BloonsGuide.com guide to conquering Scrapyard on CHIMPS difficulty in Bloons TD 6!

Best of all: this guide requires only 4 towers, and minimal micromanagement (apart from some ability usage).

Throughout this guide, you'll learn both how to beat Scrapyard on CHIMPS difficulty and learn a few basic tips and strategies you can use on any map to consistently tackle CHIMPS difficulty elsewhere.

The Final Scrapyard Build

  • Sauda (Hero)
  • Glue Gunner
  • Monkey Village
  • Spike Factory

Early Game & Starting Towers

In classic BloonsGuide.com fashion, our hero for this run will be the hero Sauda.

With a calm fury, Sauda can carve Bloons up with her twin razor-sharp swords.

Start by placing Sauda at the bottom left of the first loop of the map:

Sauda is able to solo some of the early rounds for us, so we don't have to take any actions until Round 11.

Round 11

During Round 11, place a Glue Gunner to the right of Sauda and upgrade it to 2 / 1 / 0:

This Glue Gunner will be upgraded in the top path and will pair very well with Sauda in the late game. You'll soon learn why!

Round 18

At the start of Round 18, upgrade your Glue Gunner to 2 / 2 / 0.

Round 28

At the start of Round 28, upgrade your Glue Gunner to 3 / 2 / 0.

This upgrade will bring us a bit closer to our maxed top path Glue Gunner. Bloon Dissolver really isn't the best upgrade on its own and doesn't contribute much, but later upgrades in this top path will be significantly stronger.

Round 37

At the start of Round 37, upgrade your Glue Gunner to 4 / 2 / 0, or Bloon Liquefier in the top path. This upgrade gives us a few things:

Corrosion rate increased to 1 damage per 0.1s, or 3 damage per 0.1s versus Ceramics. Attacks every 0.75s instead of 1.0s, and bloons that were directly glued leave a blob of glue on the track when popped.

...but our Glue Gunner's true power hasn't been unleashed just yet. You'll learn shortly why the last upgrade in the top path is so powerful.

We'll also need another tower to bring out the Glue Gunner's full potential.

After Round 39 - Before Round 40

After Round 39, place a Monkey Village above and to the right of the Glue Gunner and upgrade it to 3 / 1 / 0:

This Monkey Village will serve a few purposes:

  1. Giving 18% extra attack speed to all our towers
  2. Giving our Glue Gunner extra range and other buffs (since it's a Primary tower)
  3. Debuffing aggressive Regrow Bloons within the loop
  4. And later, allowing our Glue Gunner to target Camo Bloons

We'll upgrade the village to 3 / 2 / 0 soon, which will give our Glue Gunner one of the main pieces it's missing: Camo Detection.

Round 41

Once you have the gold during Round 41, upgrade your Monkey Village to 3 / 2 / 0.

Now our Glue Gunner can target everything!

Round 54

Once you have the gold during Round 54, upgrade your Glue Gunner to 5 / 2 / 0, or The Bloon Solver in the top path.

Each time a Bloon directly glued by Bloon Liquefier is popped, it will leave a blob of glue on the ground which is buffed greatly by The Bloon Solver. Moreover, a recent buff to Bloon Solver's glue blobs enables it to start a chain reaction that can pop up to BFBs and Fortified MOABs. The Bloon Solver is also amazing for taking out densely-grouped Ceramic rounds.

Finally, the Glue Gunner and Bloon Solver work great when paired with Sauda.

Sauda's Level 11 damage upgrade gives her extra damage to "harmed" Bloons - i.e. bloons affected by any lingering on-bloon effects, such as speed inhibitors and/or damage-over-time - which the Glue Gunner is able to supply via its slow effect. The Bloon Solver isn't needed for this.

The Bloon Solver, however, is still weak to DDTs, ZOMGs, and the BAD, and requires another tower to cover for it. We'll get to that shortly.

Round 55

During Round 55, upgrade your Monkey Village to 4 / 2 / 0 to provide even more buffs to the Glue Gunner.

After Round 62 - Before Round 63

After Round 62, place a Spike Factory to the right of the Glue Gunner - ensuring it's within range of your Monkey Village - and upgrade it to 2 / 4 / 0:

This Spike Factory will be our supplement for MOAB damage. Spike Storm & Carpet of Spikes when combined with MOAB SHREDR do ridiculous damage to MOABs. Even alone, this tower is able to solo the BAD on some maps.

We'll use Spike Storm a few times, but our real goal is to work towards Carpet of Spikes.

Round 64 & 65

Once all the MOABs appear at the start of Round 64, use the Spike Storm ability.

When the two BFBs appear on Round 65, use Spike Storm again.

These two ability uses likely aren't necessary, but they speed things up.

Round 68

When the BFB appears on Round 68, use Spike Storm.

Note: We don't use Spike Storm again until much later in the game, but you can use it as you like to speed things up.

Round 81

Once you have the gold on Round 81, upgrade your Spike Factory to 2 / 5 / 0, or Carpet of Spikes in the middle path.

We now have an automatic Spike Storm that goes off every few seconds. MOABs beware!

Round 96

During Round 96, upgrade Sauda to Level 18 using the gold you've garnered.

Since we aren't going to place any more towers, we might as well make Sauda attack really fast.

Round 100

Use your Spike Storm ability off cooldown on Round 100 to make quick work of the BAD and resulting Bloons!
