Welcome to the BloonsGuide.com walkthrough for today's (December 19th, 2023) Bloons TD 6 Advanced Challenge, "3 Towers Round 100" by SansIsCool5817!

In this short guide, you'll learn how to beat the Advanced Challenge, and you'll better understand why this strategy works.

Let's get started.

The Solution

The Tower we're going to use to solve this challenge is the Spike Factory.

The Challenge Solution

To start this challenge, place a Spike Factory at the end of the map and upgrade it to 2 / 0 / 5, or White Hot Spikes and Perma-Spike. Then, set the targeting priority to 'Smart':

Then, place another Spike Factory in the middle of the curve and upgrade it to 2 / 5 / 0, or White Hot Spikes and Carpet of Spikes:

To win the challenge, simply spam the Spike Storm ability for the duration of the challenge. This should be more than enough to pop the BAD alone - the Perma-Spike pile that builds up during the first part of the challenge should be enough to handle any DDTs, Ceramics, and MOABs that Carpet of Spikes / Spike Storm isn't able to pop.

And that's it!

Why This Works

Spike Storm / Carpet of Spikes combined with MOAB SHREDR is one of the best ways to pop MOABs and the BAD, especially on shorter tracks where the spikes released from the ability/passive can stack into larger piles rather than being spread out across a long track.

The ability cooldown reduction provided by this challenge allows us to spam Spike Storm relentlessly. This leads to a quick death for the BAD.

Once a large Perma-Spike pile has built at the end of the map, it's able to pop large groups of MOABs and other Bloon types that make it past our initial defenses.

Note: in a recent test we conducted, Perma-Spike (with a max spike stack) was able to handle 45 DDTs when buffed by a 4 / 2 / 0 Alchemist.

The 'Smart' targeting option allows us to grow that massive stack at the end of the map rather than using up our spike piles on MOABs / Bloons that our other Spike Factory could pop given a few extra seconds.
